Invitation to Join ZIBS 2023 Academic Forum
 

The Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS) Annual Academic Forum, now in its third consecutive year since its debut in 2020, is a prominent scholarly gathering hosted by ZIBS. In the upcoming ZIBS 2023 Academic Annual Conference, our primary objectives are to facilitate international interdisciplinary research collaboration and draw in exceptional young talents from both domestic and international realms. Our aim is to establish a vibrant global talent network. We cordially invite young talents from around the world to join us in advancing innovative research collaborations.

 

 

 

Forum Format

 

The upcoming academic annual forum is scheduled to be held offline at ZIBS, located at 718 Haizhou East Road, Haining City, Zhejiang Province. The event will include specialized presentations and academic discussions, focusing on the latest developments in academia, exploring key subjects, and fostering collaboration. As a significant part of the ZIBS Academic Annual Forum, the Global Deans Forum will host distinguished deans from international business schools to share forward-looking insights on management and economics topics.

 

 

 

Forum Areas

 

Primary Disciplines: Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Applied Economics
Research Focus: Corporate Finance and Governance, FinTech and Big Data Analysis, Insurance and Risk Management, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and related interdisciplinary fields.

 

 

Application Requirements

Strong professional ethics, honesty, dedication to the profession, meticulous work ethic, and a passion for education are required;

2

Generally, applicants should be under the age of 40;

3

Typically, applicants should hold a doctoral degree from a world-class university and have at least 2 years of continuous post-doctoral or professional experience;

4

Outstanding among their peers, they should demonstrate active academic thinking, the ability to independently conduct high-level original research, and have achieved significant academic success with promising potential for further development;

Please submit your detailed curriculum vitae (including educational background, research achievements and plans, and a list of published articles) to the email address: fanxu@intl.zju.edu.cn by December 15, 2023. After reviewing the qualifications of applicants, ZIBS will send invitation letters to qualified individuals via email by mid to late December 2023.

 

 

Conference Support

 

Those who register for ZIBS 2023 Academic Forum and apply for relevant positions, upon confirmation by the School and receipt of an invitation letter, will receive travel and accommodation during the forum. Actual expenses will be reimbursed following the financial policy, with airfare limited to domestic economy class flights and train tickets limited to second-class seats as per regulations.
