ZIBS Delegate Visited RMIT

 

From August 21 to 25, 2023, ZIBS Vice Dean QU Haidong visited the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia to promote collaboration between ZIBS and RMIT Graduate School of Business and Law (GSBL).

 

 

On the morning of the 22nd, following a tour of the financial laboratory, case rooms, library, student consultation room, and career development spaces, QU Haidong engaged in discussions and exchanges with Tracy Taylor, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research & Innovation, College of Business and Law (CBL); Grant Taylor, Associate Director, RMIT Global Markets and Portfolio. The discussions centered on policies and procedures regarding international cooperation and joint program. QU Hai Dong also highlighted the progress of ZJU International Campus development and ZIBS global strategy.

In the afternoon of the 22nd, QU Hai Dong held discussions with Simon Pervan, Dean of GSBL; CONG Lingmei, Deputy Dean of GSBL; and Directors of the MBA and EMBA programs, around topics such as the joint MBA program, student exchange, study tour, etc.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, QU Hai Dong visited Charlie Xue, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International), STEM College, and presented the features of MCS program, "Study in China" project as well as the "International Collaborative Education Model" of Zhejiang University.

On July 3, 2023, CONG Lingmei, Deputy Dean of GSBL, visited ZIBS and agreed on future collaborations in varied fields. RMIT’s business degrees are known for ‘enterprise’, and its MBA program has a long-standing reputation in Australia. This visit aims to expand and deepen cooperation between the two institutions in the field of MBA education.
