Curriculum

This module integrates theories of higher education, international communication, cross-culture, globalization, and public policy involved in the development of international education, applies them as the underlying logic to emphasize the necessity and importance of educational opening-up and improvement of international education capabilities based on China's reality, and provides relevant suggestions and solutions for literacy improvement.
Policy researchers and senior industry experts will interpret the strategic evolution of the education opening-up policy, the international layout of domestic universities, and the international cooperation in education, so as to make participants get wise to international higher education. The courses may include introduction and interpretation of university alliances and rankings, introduction of European and American higher education systems, and sharing of typical cases of Chinese-foreign cooperation in education, thus strengthening participants' understanding of policies and trends through sharing practical cases.
This module will focus on the specific problems and business issues in international education, and share excellent practice cases of domestic and foreign universities, including but not limited to international ranking rise (in practice), international research cooperation (paths, opportunities and difficulties), international enrollment management, international campus management, international education cooperation policy, international students management, and international faculty management. This module will share the specific practice and experience of ZJU and its International Campus in international education.
Following the teaching module, this module will review the learning outcomes of participants, and organize interactive exchanges such as roundtable forums and seminars for participants to refine their insights or share their experience on specific topics. If time permits, they can also visit key Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutions and international cooperative research institutions in the province or in the country.
